What to Do, Where to Go...

Winter has set in and we are all gearing up for some cold weather.  Don't let the temperature get you down.  Instead get up and get out of the house.  My son has Asthma so I am always on the lookout for indoor activities to do.  Here are a few websites you can go and check out to find some great places to visit.

While parking out in the cold maybe be a problem, crowds won't be.  Take time to go visit one of our nearby National Museums.  I know many of us only do so when out of the area friends and family visit.  But now is the time to avoid the summer crowds and go take a peak at some of the best DC has to offer.
 

Want a real treat?! http://locations.krispykreme.com/ With several locations in the area, there is nothing quiet as tasty as a donut freshly made.  You might need to plan to burn off a few extra calories afterwards so how about a walk in downtown Alexandria  afterwards.

Can't bear to go out in the cold? Well here are some indoor crafty things to do.
make your own playdoh or you can go check out family fun magazine they have some great ideas for last minute crafts.  You can even search based on materials you have at home.
